Project Introduction
In order to further improve the talent funding system, give full play to the function of science fund to introduce and cultivate talents, attract overseas outstanding young talents back to China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China committee in 2022 continue to implement the National Natural Science Foundation of Outstanding Youth Science Fund project (overseas).
Outstanding youth science fund project (overseas) aims to attract and encourage overseas outstanding young scholars (including non-Chinese foreign talents) in natural science, engineering technology to come back to China, independently carry out work for innovative research, promote the rapid growth of young science and technical personnel, cultivate a batch of outstanding academic backbone talents expected to enter the science and technology forefront in the world, and contribute to the construction of science and technology power.
