On the afternoon of September 9,2023, at the 2023 Yangtze River Delta · Xiuzhou Modern Service Industry Promotion Conference in Jiaxing city, Zhejiang Province, the Digital Economy Governance Laboratory of the BIT Yangtze Delta Research Institute was officially inaugurated. Zhang Shuming, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Zhu Miao, member of the Standing Committee of Jiaxing Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor, and Xu Mingyang, secretary of Xiuzhou District Party Committee attended the event and delivered a speech.
Relying on the Digital Economy Innovation Research Center of the BIT Yangtze Delta Research Institute, the Digital Economy Governance Laboratory will continue to deepen the development of digital economy in the Yangtze River Delta region and give full play to the advantages of university-local cooperation. Based on operation research optimization, operation management, artificial intelligence and other technologies, the laboratory is set to realize the digitalization, intelligence and optimization of urban governance, grass-roots governance and economic governance.
