          On August 25, the 2022 International Forum on the Development of China Civil Unmanned Aviation entitled "Innovation and Practice Leading the Development of Unmanned Aviation" was held by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in Changchun.

          Professor Liu Hao, as the secretary-general of the Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems (JARUS) was invited to attend the forum and delivered a keynote speech on "How to make unmanned aviation regulation smarter".

          Craig Bloch-Hansen, vice Chairman of ARUS, Joerg Dittrich, head of the Security Risk Working Group, expert member Filippo Tommasello, and Natale Di Rubbo, head of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) drone aviation program were also invited to address in the conference. Representatives of several JARUS member states from Europe, North America, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region were invited to attend the forum online.

          The Forum was hosted by Changchun People's Government and China Air Transport Association online and offline. Nearly 300 people gathered in the Forum including Experts from JARUS and other international organizations, from the central committee office, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security and other relevant ministries, special guests from unmanned aircraft manufacturing enterprises, operating enterprises, scientific research institutes, social groups, and media representatives.
