          Professor Nordhaus, “Father of Economics of Climate Change”, wins the Nobel Prize in Economic Science

          William D. Nordhaus, professor of economics and environmental studies at Yale University, won the 2018 Nobel Prize in Economic Science for his outstanding contribution to integrating climate change into long-term macroeconomic analysis.

          The Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research of Beijing Institute of Technology is responsible for the National Key Research Project “Research on the Comprehensive Assessment Model of Economic Impacts of Climate Change” and is committed to the development of the “China Climate Change Comprehensive Assessment Model (C3IAM)”. The Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research of Beijing Institute of Technology and the team of Professor Nordhaus collaborate on the Project YCCRP to further expand and deepen the comprehensive assessment model for climate change.
