On May 16, 2019, the 57th Capital College Student Track and Field Games held a four-day competition at China University of Geosciences (Beijing). More than 6,000 athletes from more than 70 colleges and universities in the capital have launched a fierce competition in track and field events in the three groups of A, B and C respectively. In the end, Beijing Institute of Technology track and field team ranked sixth in the Capital College Group A with two gold, four silver and two bronze medals and won the Spiritual Civilization Award.
The Capital College Student Track and Field Games is an annual sports event for colleges and universities in Beijing. It is also a "big game" among high-level sports teams of various universities. It has witnessed the glorious course of sports in Beijing universities for decades.
