主講人簡介：
Professor Wei Kwok Kee is Provost’s Chair Professor and Founding Dean of the School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Prior to his current appointment, Prof Wei was Chair Professor of Information Systems at the College of Business (2002 - 2016), Dean of the College of Business (2007 - 2012) and Head of the Department of Information Systems (2002 - 2007) at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU).
Professor Wei is a Fellow of the Association of Information Systems (AIS) and was President of that Association in 2003/4. He was awarded the AIS LEO Award for Lifetime Exceptional Achievement in Information Systems in 2015.
Professor Wei has served as Senior Editor of MIS Quarterly and Associate Editor of Information Systems Research. He has also played major roles in ICIS and PACIS. As an excellent educator, his doctoral students have attained placements in good universities worldwide. Prof Wei has published more than 200 journal and conference papers. Based on Scopus, his works have been cited over 6932 times and his h-index is 38 (as at 23 Aug 2017).
報告摘要：
The digital workplace encompasses all the technologies people use to get work done in today’s workplace – both the ones in operation and the ones yet to be implemented. It ranges from your HR applications and core business applications to e-mail, instant messaging and enterprise social media tools and virtual meeting tools. It exists in every organization and industry today. It will take a different form depending on what the industry is and what the business needs are. In this presentation, a framework was presented for researchers to understand the current digital workplace and identify areas of opportunity for research in this research domain.
