主講人簡介:
周碩彥,美國密西根大學(xué)工業(yè)與作業(yè)工程博士,現(xiàn)任臺(tái)灣科技大學(xué)工業(yè)管理系特聘教授,校級(jí)物聯(lián)網(wǎng)創(chuàng)新中心主任,本學(xué)期教授休假期間於北京大學(xué)工業(yè)工程與管理系客座。周教授研究主要為資訊科技應(yīng)用,物聯(lián)網(wǎng)創(chuàng)新應(yīng)用除了在物流領(lǐng)域外,在節(jié)能、健康、交通上亦有多項(xiàng)智能化的研究成果。曾獲臺(tái)灣國科會(huì)優(yōu)良研究獎(jiǎng)、主持并參與60多項(xiàng)研發(fā)項(xiàng)目,主辦超過20場大型國際學(xué)術(shù)研討活動(dòng)、發(fā)表近60篇SCI期刊論文。並曾任英文期刊中國工業(yè)工程學(xué)刊(Taylor and Francis出版)主編、歐盟框架計(jì)畫臺(tái)灣辦公室執(zhí)行長、臺(tái)灣科技大學(xué)國際事務(wù)長、臺(tái)灣科技大學(xué)工業(yè)管理系主任、印尼臺(tái)灣教育中心主任等職務(wù)。
內(nèi)容簡介:
Internet of Things in recent years has attracted global attention due to its broad application areas and potential impact to better living. With the maturity of RFID, wireless sensor network and cloud computing, the functions of recognition, sensing, communication, computing, and servicing can be integrated seamlessly to provide a ubiquitous intelligent environment to support key issues of significant concern such as security and safety, healthcare, energy conservation, hazard mitigation, tracing and tracking. In addition to the development on hardware and software, there are also areas in service and application scenarios, user interface, intelligent systems, analytics, deployment and management and others that require contribution from industrial engineers. In this talk, such research and development opportunities in Taiwan as well as in global regions will be addressed.
