2015年8月7日，Worcester Polytechnic Institute商學(xué)院的Joe Zhu教授應(yīng)邀至管理與經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)訪問(wèn)并作了題為“Data Envelopment Analysis: New Perspective”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告，為學(xué)院師生介紹其學(xué)術(shù)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和成果。本次報(bào)告由王科副教授主持，學(xué)院眾多師生參加了本次報(bào)告會(huì)，并對(duì)Joe Zhu教授的到來(lái)表示熱烈歡迎。
報(bào)告首先簡(jiǎn)單介紹了DEA方法的基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)，并引入了新的見(jiàn)解；隨后介紹了DEA發(fā)展過(guò)程中最基本的三個(gè)模型，闡述了它們的意義以及相關(guān)模型算法的演變過(guò)程；其次以造船廠和器官移植兩個(gè)實(shí)際的例子詳細(xì)的講解了DEA模型如何在實(shí)際生產(chǎn)生活中進(jìn)行應(yīng)用；最后比較了DEA與傳統(tǒng)統(tǒng)計(jì)方法的不同，并在DEA方法現(xiàn)有的研究基礎(chǔ)上提出了創(chuàng)新性引導(dǎo)，使在場(chǎng)師生深受啟發(fā)。匯報(bào)結(jié)束后，在場(chǎng)師生就報(bào)告中所涉及的研究方法等問(wèn)題展開(kāi)深入的交流和熱烈的討論。
主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
Professor Zhu is an expert in methods of performance evaluation and benchmarking, and his research interests are in the areas of operations and productivity, and performance evaluation and benchmarking, and the method of data envelopment analysis (DEA). He was recently been awarded a Chang Jiang Scholar Chair Professorship. The author of more than 120 journal articles, books, and textbooks, and with more than 10,000 Google Scholar citations, his research interests include operations and business analytics, productivity modeling, and performance evaluation. Professor Zhu has published in top journals such as Operations Research, Management Science, Sloan Management Review, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Operational Research Society, IIE Transactions, OMEGA, and others. He is a co-editor of the Handbook on Data Envelopment Analysis (1st and 2nd editions), published by Springer. Professor Zhu has published and co-edited seven books on performance evaluation and benchmarking using data envelopment analysis (DEA).
